“The beauty of the wood lies within its history.”

John began reclaiming wood from old farmhouses, barns, and mill buildings. He salvaged antique pine, red cedar, black walnut, oak, chestnut, and more. A rich history of common and popular species here in New England, some dating as far back as the 1700’s. Today, after decades of experience, John is not only an expert artist and craftsman, but an old wood historian. He has a passion for the unique features and beauty of each piece, decades or even centuries in the making.

“Let the wood tell you what it wants to be…”

John intuitively crafts all-custom tables, cabinets, furnishings, interior accents, doors, desks, mantles, countertops, and more, all inspired by his medium. Where some see defects in the wood, John sees opportunity. He works with the knots, scars, and builder’s marks, preserving the history and giving the wood an all-new life for his clients.
